What is the silliest thing you've ever spent more than $30 bucks on?

Ah, yes, I once spent more than $30 bucks (really, are the currency sign and the "bucks" necessary? It seems to me that is a touch superfluous and would therefore read "more than thirty dollars bucks".) trying to get Vox to stop posting crappy American-centric questions of the day. It was silly because I should have known it would never happen.
